Seth Miran is a mission-driven senior leader with extensive non-profit experience, having worked in nearly every functional department across a variety of national nonprofits at a range of levels – from front-line to c-suite. Most recently, Seth served as the Chief Operating Officer at Blue Engine, where he was responsible for org-wide financial, legal, and compliance risk management; talent development and HR; plus, operations & IT oversight. Prior to that, Seth spent five years in a variety of leadership roles at Bottom Line New York, where he oversaw corporate and government fundraising, marketing and communications, and operations, in addition to co-leading the organization’s strategic planning process with the ED. Seth also led an Extended Learning Time program with Citizen Schools at a public middle school in East Harlem, and began his career as a high school math and economics teacher in the South Bronx. Throughout these roles, Seth has a track record of sustained results across operations, finance, people/talent, strategy, and program departments.
Seth earned his B.A. in International Politics & Economics from Middlebury College and a Masters in Teaching from Pace University.
