Christy Fitzpatrick is Chief Growth Officer and Partner at Carey & Co, where she leads growth strategy, operating alignment, and platform-scale capabilities for a national professional services firm serving nonprofit and social impact organizations. With more than 15 years of senior leadership experience, Christy partners with CEOs and Boards to turn mission ambition into sustainable growth—grounded in strong people systems, disciplined operations, and clear decision-making.
At Carey & Co, Christy is responsible for aligning revenue strategy, client experience, and organizational infrastructure to support long-term impact. Her work spans growth planning, operating model design, leadership development, and internal systems that enable teams to scale without sacrificing purpose or culture. She brings a practitioner’s lens to growth—one that recognizes people, clarity, and trust as the real drivers of performance.
Christy’s career includes executive leadership roles across national nonprofit organizations, where she built financial and people infrastructure, guided organizations through growth and change, and supported Boards in governance and strategic decision-making. She is known for her ability to bring order to complexity, balance mission with metrics, and create environments where leaders and teams can do their best work.
In addition to her executive role, Christy is a thought leader on nonprofit growth, leadership, and organizational sustainability. She hosts the podcast Carey & Co Presents: Growth Is a People Story with Christy Fitzpatrick, where she speaks with nonprofit leaders about the reality of building organizations while trying to save the world. Through candid conversations, the podcast explores the human side of growth—decision fatigue, values tension, scaling teams, and the emotional labor of leadership—bringing honesty and practicality to a sector often driven by urgency and idealism.
Christy is an alum of CUNY Hunter College. She serves on the boards of Comunilife and York Street Project.
