Tom
CFO
Tom Guiltinan has devoted most of his career to working with not-for-profit organizations. He got his start as a not-for-profit community developer, building homes for low and moderate income families in Philadelphia. He was the CFO of an innovative affordable housing developer and social service provider in the Bronx for eight years.
He has worked in senior management positions – usually as CFO – at social service organizations, social justice organizations, social benefit organizations, housing organizations, museums, and universities. After 10 years of consulting Tom took the job as CFO of United Way of New York City where he helped the organization transition from a community-chest model to a government contracting model. Along the way, Tom helped the organization rebuild its reserves, transition seamlessly through a major Executive transition and get through the pandemic in an even stronger position.
Tom got his MBA from Yale University with a concentration in real estate development and not-for-profit management, and received a BA from the University of Pennsylvania where he majored in English.
